Hello, I’m Olavo.

Technologist by profession. Curious by nature.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I’ve spent much of my professional life working with technology, helping businesses solve problems, making software behave (most of the time), and figuring out how things work.

But technology is only part of my story.

I’m also interested in travel, photography, music, gaming, and the countless little discoveries that make life interesting.

This website is where those worlds meet. It’s part personal journal, part collection of experiences, part technology playground, and probably a little bit of everything else.

A life in technology

I’ve been working with business software long enough to have seen entire generations of technology come and go.

My professional background includes consulting, business management systems, databases, and ERP software. I’ve worked with platforms such as SBT, VisionPoint, and AccountMate, helping companies make better use of their technology.

Over the years, the tools have changed dramatically, but the fundamental challenge remains the same: understanding a problem and finding a practical way to solve it.

These days, I’m particularly interested in artificial intelligence, automation, software development, and the possibilities of connecting old and new technologies.

I enjoy experimenting with new tools, building things, breaking them occasionally, and learning something along the way.

Some experiments become useful projects. Others become good stories.

Both are worthwhile.

Exploring the world

Travel gives me new perspectives, and photography gives me a reason to slow down and pay attention.

I enjoy capturing moments, exploring different cultures, and collecting experiences worth remembering.

You’ll find some of those experiences here, along with photographs and stories from places I’ve visited.

Music, gaming, and everything else

Music has a way of connecting memories, places, and moments in time. It’s one of the interests I keep coming back to.

Gaming is another. Sometimes it’s about the technology, sometimes the challenge, sometimes the story, and sometimes simply having fun.

I don’t believe every interest needs a grand purpose. Some things are worth exploring just because they’re enjoyable.

Why this website exists

I’ve always liked the idea of having a place on the internet that is truly my own.

Not just a professional profile. Not just a photo gallery. Not just a technology blog.

A place where I can share what I’m working on, where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, and whatever happens to capture my attention.

Some posts might be technical. Others might be about a trip, a photograph, a piece of music, or a game.

There’s no single theme beyond curiosity.

If something here catches your interest, stick around. There’s always something new to explore.
